Samantha is the second best Eponie but the role was made for Lea Salonga

Bruh no joke she was the funniest and best character in the show, especially watching this as a grown up. She was a complete train wreck in every scene she was in and it is perfection. She is also one of if not the best actors in the entire show, her delivery is on point every line.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I hated coco every episode she’s in there is little to nothing about her that I enjoy she’s always screaming,crying or eating ravioli out of a can At least Logan has his moments despite being a dick and i think Dustin is one of the best characters in the show hell pretty much all of the characters are great except coco I don’t know what the thought process was behind her character but the person who wrote her this way should never touch a pen again

This is a snapshot of an entire show. Lea is brilliant - though has she done a run of LM? Samantha Barks has done the work to own this character as her version of Eponine. And it is superb.

Lea is clean, strong, and perfect. Sam is emotional, desperate, and a little bit psychotic. I think it was hard to make a difference from Lea, who was a perfect and invincible reference. But Sam did it. Nobody couldn't expect that we can see another incredible Eponine comparable to Lea.

I just got done from we watching on my own from the movie, since it was literally the only good mean scene,( The best scene in my opinion is of course anything that has to do with Colm Wilkinson))And what I noticed is that if I gave them another chance, not necessarily on that stupid fucking live action shit, but more so traditionally standing, with orchestra chorus and better microphones, they would sound 10 times better then with the stupid live-action shit.

👏👏👏 but its still lea for me is the best of all Eponine. I mean Lea Salonga is the Eponine no one's gonna surpass lea's voice qualities, the diction, pronunciation, the emotions are all superb. Lea Salonga's voice is ethereal.

Yes. Lea Salonga was a great Eponine, but Barks does a tremendous job. Salonga is more technical with the song that its flawless. With Barks, I can hear the emotion of Eponine in her voice and I feel the same way when I hear Eva Noblezada. Just my preference.
